Guest house "Depo" is situated in quiet industrial area of Gulbene, where once - in 1930 - 1980-ties operated one of the busiest railway junctions in Latvia with big locomotive roundhouse and railway workshops. Nowadays that is the home for Gulbene - Aluksne narrow gauge railway - the most popular tourist attraction in Vidzeme region.

Guest house "Depo" is an ideal cheap alternative to staying at the hotels in the area. We offer accommodation in the ascetic relaxation premises of locomotive crews, or in the parlour car of Estonian Communist Party leaders as well as camping and picnic sites in the garden next to the depot.
